We are back to life!

Posted on June 30, 2020July 3, 2020 by ibuntu85

After a dude from YouTube obviously tried to be a good behaving China-like citizen he or she reported us at jimdo.com. And sadly we don’t have 2009 or even 2010 any more. A time where it was totally normal that even websites like jimdo first would ask the one who reports something “are you personal affected and can you proof your accusations?”

Since I explained on the page “Legal Issues” already, we don’t do anything illegal by sharing “iBuntu” with you. Let me explain again – this time a bit more detailed or different since I jsut have to get this out of my system before I can move on 🙂

For starters see here a page where you can legally download MacOS Wallpapers:

Every Default macOS Wallpaper – in Glorious 5K Resolution

If this would be illegal, Apple would already have sued this website owner and many, many more.

Also the same it is obviously with all these Icon Themes of macOS which you legally can download for example from here:

https://store.kde.org/p/1334878/

So if Apple obviously doesn’t bother if creative guys share their wallpapers and Icon Themes with the world – how about people who explain others how to download and install them in Ubuntu – like this website here:

How To Make Ubuntu Look Like Mac (In 5 Steps)

or here

Ubuntu Mac Theme: A Tutorial to Make Your Ubuntu Look Like Mac OS

or here

Make Ubuntu Look Like Mac – Install Mac OS Mojave Theme in Ubuntu

And also like this Dude on YouTube:

Or like this dude:

Or this Guy:

Again – obviously this isn’t something Apple really sees a Problem with, otherwise they would sue the hell out of people who share this, people who write tutorials like the above and YouTubers who explain how you do it.

So now the big question: Why should it than suddenly become illegal if I do exactly that they describe in their tutorials, pack it all together and share the result? If they can clame on fair use, so can I.

But sadly jimdo.com is obedient to such Report-Freaks, they block websites which are reported and don’t care if there is a real case behind it.

But we are back! Why anonymous you might ask? Well not because we do anything illegal – but to prevent those guys from fire greedy lawyers against us or do any other crazy stuff if they find out where we life. Because with people like this you can’t argue. They don’t have a life and their only purpose in life is to harm other people where they think they do anything even slightly “illegal”. Guys like this in the past reported their neighbours just for parking three minutes on the sidewalk in front of their house.

Sad enough people like them are now forcing normal people into anonymity just because they do a harmless hobby. But I know people like these would do all kind of crazy stuff if they find out who you are and where you live even if you clearly don’t do anything illegal. They just want harm others.

But in fact the Deletion of our Website at Jimdo made us even stronger and better – we have now even more spirit in what we do and will continue what we are doing – and our new website is more independent and free and scalable than any cheap jimdo Site ever could have been – so thank you whoever did this to us in fact you did us a favor and thanks to you our site is now technically improved and hosted on a Top-Level-Domain 😉

But I don’t have time and nerves to deal with these brainless folks anymore. So I will go on with my life now 🙂
