Good news everyone – hearby we announce that iBuntu 2.0 Lix Sur is officially re-released and available for download now.
Nothing was changed at the release from last week, we only fixed the installation-bug we had with EFI-Installations and therefore switched to the Calamares installer.
For everyone who is already using Catalinux so far we will publish a Tutorial on how to migrate without data loss within the next days.
This time we released it for good – Version 2.0 is here and it’s here to stay 🙂
So come get it, install it, enjoy it, spread the word and share it

Thanks,, I can do anything I did on windows on Ibuntu,.. We produce a lot of audio, and the beta version of reaper is out of this world,, no need for windows or mac..
This is truly the best emulation of the mac desktop that Ive ever seen,, You can fool a lot of people with it,, cuz you can use pages, numbers,, presentation,, and all that jazz..
The switch to KDE was Excelent !….. So much smoother and classy…

I hope someone can help me because I can not install lix sur on my pc, I get the error;
¨syslinux 6.03 EDD 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al Failed to load ldlinux.c32 Boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue¨
And so on, try etcher, rufus, unetbootin and from there it does not happen, I need help, my pc is a Gateway / acer NE46R, 6gb ram, Celeron B820, HDD 500GB Hitachi and the usb is an Adata C008 8GB, thanks for reading this request.
Normally this only happens with rufus or unetbootin. With the newst version of balena etcher we never had this issue reported before.
